Johns Hopkins University Faculty Development Program This program has been held since 1987 at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. A 9-month-long, half-day-per-week longitudinal program in Teaching Skills and Curriculum Development is available. Stanford Faculty Development Center It offers a 4-week program addressing clinical teaching, end-of-life care, geriatrics in primary care, and medical decision making for contemporary practice. Harvard Macy Institute It offers a program for physician-educators. Themes are learning and teaching, curriculum, evaluation, information technology, and leadership. This 19-day program is divided into an 11-day winter session and an 8-day spring session. McMaster University Faculty of Health Sciences Department of Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics offers the program "How to Teach Evidence-Based Clinical Practice" in 1-week format. American Academy on Physician and Patient ( AAPP) It offers the program "Teaching core Competencies in Medical Interviewing" in 1-week format. ACP-ASIM, Community-Based Teaching This group offers annual workshop on community-based teaching in 3 days.
